2013 Writing course programme

We have a very exciting programme of creative writing courses in 2013, with Crime Writing and TV comedy and drama scriptwriting added to our offering. And Sharon Kendrick will be back next Spring with not one, but TWO of her ever-popular Writing Romance week-long courses.

Best-selling thriller writer Meg Gardiner will run our first Crime Writing, while award-winning scriptwriter Laurence Marks, with a string of TV, film and stage hits to his name, will run our exciting course on how to write TV comedy and drama.

For Sharon's course, each participant is invited to send a few pages of their work to her beforehand. Sharon will then discuss this in a one-to-one tutorial with each student during the week. Laurence will also read your scripts beforehand and talk them over with you during his course. Meg will read the synopsis and first ten pages of any novel you've started. (Don't worry if you haven't: you'll still have a one-to-one with Meg.)  All this is priceless advice from authors who know how to write a bestseller and a winning script.
