Michael Kitchen is a professional artist and international tutor with a lifetime's painting experience. A very popular and sensitive tutor, for the past 12 years he has been running painting holidays and courses in various parts of Scotland, North Africa, the Greek islands and more recently - on the QE2 and other cruise liners.
For several years he was an official demonstrator at The Artist & Illustrator’s Show in London. Michael has also contributed articles to Leisure Painter, had work published in The International Pastel Artist magazine and is currently working on his first book.
Conscious that everyone’s requirements are different; Michael ensures that guests receive plenty of genuine teaching, personal tuition and lots of encouragement. Michael is equally skilled at painting and tutoring in watercolours, oils and pastels and his favourite subjects are land/seascapes, portraiture & animal studies.
